Welcome to Walk of Life’s exclusive private facility, where you’ll experience personalized attention from Dr. Melissa. She is dedicated to equipping you for your needs, ensuring that you receive exceptional care throughout your visit.
Our one-on-one sessions last for a full 60 minutes. If you’re traveling from a considerable distance and desire to maximize your visit, Dr. Melissa is more than happy to extend the duration accordingly.
Dr. Melissa D. Fletcher, PT, DPT, WCS, CLT-LANA, PCES is the owner and founder of Walk of Life Physical Therapy, LLC. While completing her doctorate in physical therapy, she discovered the specialty of Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy for men, women and children. She then gained experience working in this specialty along with head and neck cancer rehab and lymphedema treatment. She obtained her certification of lymphedema training and then passed the LANA (Lymphology Association of North America) to demonstrate highest level of competency. After completing over 2,000 hours of hands on treatment of pelvic floor patients, she became board certified as a Women’s Health Certification Specialist (WCS.) Lastly, she obtained a certification for Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES.)
Melissa prides herself in finding the most effective treatment options to empower her patients to return to doing what they love, with confidence. She has developed her own signature ART method (Align, Release, Thrive – through strengthening) that has proven to get the best results.

Jeanette Turner
Massage Therapist
Jeannette has been in practice since 2017. She received her education at Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy. She also became certified in pregnancy massage and ACE medicupping. Jeannette is a Marshall County native a wife and mother of two. She offers custom massage therapy services tailored to each client’s specific needs and hopes to bring physical and emotional relief to clients through massage therapy.
Ashleigh Pegg
Occupational Therapist
Ashleigh has been practicing for 16 years. She started her career as a travel therapist after graduating with her masters from WVU and has experience in home health, acute care, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, mental health, and skilled nursing rehabilitation settings. She has a special interest in neurological disorders such as stroke and TBI and has achieved an NDT certification.
Jayla Pierson
StemWave Tech
Jayla is our newest team member. She joined our team to become a certified StemWave Tech, and is now working with patients! Jayla is passionate about one-on-one patient care and loves learning new things. In her free time, she enjoys films, crafts, and spending time with her loved ones.
Emma Molina
Office Manager
Emma has been working as an office manager since December of 2023. Emma is a Wheeling native and completed her bachelor’s degree in biology at West Virginia University in 2021. She worked in the medical laboratory field for two years before joining us in December. In her free time, Emma enjoys hiking, volunteering at her church, and painting murals!
